THE KYOTO DISTILLERY WINS THE IWSC INTERNATIONAL GIN PRODUCER OF THE YEAR

The Kyoto Distillery has been awarded one of the highest accolades at the International Wine & Spirits Competition 2018 – International Gin Producer of the Year.

The Kyoto Distillery’s successful year shows no sign of stopping as its portfolio of premium gins has scooped a plethora of medals at this year’s awards. KI NO BI Kyoto Dry Gin led the way with The Contemporary Gin Trophy and a coveted Gold Outstanding, KI NO TEA won Silver and KI NO BI SEI was awarded Silver and won Gold in the Gin & Tonic category. The Kyoto Distillery was also nominated for Distillery of the Year.

Having been identified by the IWSR as the most popular gin brand (premium and above category) in Japan, in both volume and value during 2017, The Kyoto Distillery has had an enviable first two years since its domestic launch.

The continued success of the Kyoto Distillery at the world’s leading spirits competitions and its ability to compete with some of the largest names in the drinks industry further highlights its incredible accomplishments.
