KI NO BI 5G 5-bottle set

October 2021 marks the fifth anniversary of the launch of KI NO BI Kyoto Dry Gin,  often said to have inspired the craft gin boom in Japan.

To celebrate this landmark, we have commissioned a very special set, featuring five of our most popular releases:

The four gins and one liqueur have been filled into bottles specially decorated by local goldsmith Horikin, founded in 1711 and located on Oike in central Kyoto, a short walk from House of KI NO BI. The gold leaf has been applied by hand to every bottle, meaning each one is unique.

The five-bottle set comes packaged in a Kiribako wooden box, lovingly created in Kyoto by a multi-generational family business. It is made of paulownia wood in a style that has been used in Japan for many centuries to protect valuable items.

The design on the lid of the box (and also on some of the bottles) is taken from a hangi woodblock design from KIRA KARACHO, a karakami atelier with roots dating back to 1624.

In all, just 50 sets of KI NO BI 5G have been produced.
