The Kyoto Distillery, Japan’s first artisan gin distillery, is pleased to announce our KI NO BI Facebook & Instagram Photo Competition. Twelve winners will receive an original KI NO BI bottle bag, produced in Kyoto in collaboration with Ichizawa Hanpu, known throughout Japan for their hand-crafted canvas bags.

Established in 1905 in Kyoto, their signature canvas bags have been designed and created by the hand of experienced craftsmen. They’re known for the manufacture of durable industry bags for carrying sake bottles and ice blocks, and also tool bags for carpenters and mountain climbers. Today many of their products are based on those original designs and updated to fit in with modern everyday life.

*No bottles are included in the prize.


Theme: KI NO BI and food-pairing combinations

Post a photo of a KI NO BI bottle with your recommended food pairing (this could be a dessert, bar snacks, local food, comfort food, food from around the world, etc.).


How to enter:

  1. Follow either @TheKyotoDistillery account Facebook or @thekyotodistillery of Instagram.
  2. Upload a photo to your Facebook or Instagram, showcasing KI NO BI Kyoto Dry Gin bottle with your food-pairing recommendation.
  3. Tag the photo with the hashtag #KINOBAG.

No limited editions or private bottlings of KI NO BI are accepted; only the standard KI NO BI Kyoto Dry Gin bottle.


Open to persons currently over the legal age of drinking in their county of residence. Winners will be asked for proof of age before prizes are dispatched.
